LG unveils dual screen LG V60 ThinQ 5G smartphone

“It's the season for smartphone launches. After the cancellation of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), many brands launched launches outside of the international electronic event.

Not one to leave out, LG has announced its latest flagship, the LG V60 ThinQ 5G dual screen.

What is the LG V60 ThinQ 5G?

As the recent launches of Samsung and Motorola show, foldable smartphones are very present at the moment. The LG V60 ThinQ 5G takes a slightly different approach to increasing screen space. The company makes a clear distinction; it's not a foldable phone, but a dual screen, instead. To avoid adding additional volume to the phone, the dual screen configuration is also optional.
The second screen is an accessory supplied with the phone. Rather than being permanently attached, you can clip the screen accessory to the V60 ThinQ 5G as needed. Both screens are equipped with 20.5: 9 FHD + P-OLED screens. They are also half an inch larger than previous models. The dual screen focuses on productivity, so you can multitask as much or as little as you want.
As the name suggests, this phone supports 5G networks; an essential feature for new phones with the introduction of these broadband networks. However, the 5000mAh battery means that even with the improved connection, you should easily spend a day without needing to recharge. The phone comes with Android 10, the latest edition of Google’s smartphone platform.
In line with other flagship devices, the LG V60 ThinQ 5G sports a rear camera configuration with tripe lenses. There is a 64MP primary lens, a 13MP super wide lens and a depth sensor. Thanks to this, the phone can also record 8K videos. Notably, the device also includes a fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 5.1 and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. It is even classified IP68 for its resistance to water and dust.

Where can you buy the LG V60 ThinQ 5G?

There is no long pre-order period with the V60 ThinQ 5G. Instead, the phone will be available from late March in North America, Europe and Asia. Although we don't yet have a price for the device, LG has confirmed that it will be cheaper than the equivalent Samsung Galaxy S20 device. In all likelihood, you should expect the V60 ThinQ 5G to sell for around $ 1,000.
The price of flagship smartphones seems to increase every year. That said, if you're looking for the best smartphones of 2020, you have a choice. Be sure to check out everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S20 series
And if that doesn't strike, there is also the latest Sony Xperia range.
