Spotify makes its mobile app easier to use

Spotify has launched a new version of its mobile application for iOS. According to Spotify, the new Spotify app is bigger, bolder and better than ever. The changes are designed to make Spotify easier to use, with various user interface changes to explore.

The Spotify mobile app has always been pretty solid. It is easy to navigate and finding what you need to find among the masses of content is quite simple. However, there is always room for improvement, and Spotify has decided to change its user interface.

What's new in the Spotify mobile app?

Spotify details the changes to For the Record. The company says the new mobile app offers "a simpler and more user-friendly interface with new designs for actionable icons that will make playing your song or playlist as simple as the touch of a button" .

The new mobile application offers simplified icons. There is now a universal Shuffle button that records you a click. In addition, the Like , Play , and Download buttons (only for Premium users) are now grouped in a row in the center of the screen.
You can also see the cover art of all tracks everywhere, except in the album view. This is designed to help you locate familiar songs without having to read the track list. Finally, a Heart icon will be displayed next to all of the songs you previously liked .
Spotify first rolls out its new mobile app on iOS, and Android will follow soon. If you want to access the new version, manually update your Spotify app on iOS. Then take the time to discover the new version of the application and its user-friendly modifications.
